Designed to provide a tranquil environment, the Reading Hall is ideal for individual study, research, and exam preparation. The Reading Hall is open to all registered library members. Prior reservation is recommended during peak exam periods.

b. Circulation Desk:
Welcome to the Circulation Desk — the hub for managing your library borrowing needs. Our friendly staffs are here to assist you with all aspects of resource circulation, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience. The Circulation Desk is located at the main entrance of the library. For assistance, questions, or special requests, our staffs are available during all operating hours.
Services Offered:
Borrowing & Returning: Check out books, magazines, DVDs, and other resources. Return borrowed items on or before the due date to avoid fines.
Renewals: Extend your borrowing period easily through in-person, online, or phone renewals, provided no other user has reserved the item.
Reservations: Reserve items currently on loan to ensure they’re held for you once returned.

d. Clearance Service:
Welcome to the Clearance Service — your solution for finalizing your library transactions and ensuring a smooth departure process. Our team is here to assist you with the clearance procedures when you are returning items, completing your membership, or preparing to leave the library. Services Offered:
Library dues clearance: Assistance with settling outstanding fines, fees, or overdue items to close your account your membership of library.
Item Returns: Help with returning borrowed materials and confirming that your account is in good standing.
Membership Closure: Guidance on the steps to officially deactivate or update your membership information.
Issue clearance through software: Providing clearance through EDU designated software system for academic, employment, or student.

Novus Library Study Service:
Novus Library, established in July 2025 as a vital part of EDU Central Library at the Permanent Campus, offers a modern and innovative environment dedicated to fostering academic excellence. Designed to meet the needs of graduate students and faculty, the library provides flexible and collaborative study spaces that enhance research and learning experiences. Located on the 8th floor of the Novus building, Novus Library features contemporary interiors and state-of-the-art facilities aimed at creating an inspiring academic atmosphere. It includes a variety of dedicated spaces such as a Knowledge Exchange Center for
collaborative learning, six advanced group study rooms, and comfortable individual study areas. The library’s collection boasts
over 1,400 books and 3,500 digital resources, supporting a wide range of academic disciplines. Patrons have access to high- speed Wi-Fi, modern computers, and seating for up to 120 users, making it a hub for research, study, and community engagement. Committed to fostering innovation and scholarly pursuits, Novus Library provides a dynamic space where students and faculty can collaborate, innovate, and excel in their academic endeavors.

Group Study Room Service
These rooms offer a quiet, designated space for group projects, presentations, and exam preparation. Ideal for education-focused group discussions, they are equipped with security cameras and sound systems to enhance the experience. To ensure fair access for all users, a time limit is implemented.
Group study room Lex
Group study rooms must be reserved in advance for a specified time. Each member’s name should be recorded in the booking register. If a member joins later and has not yet signed in, they must immediately add their name to the group’s booking record.
Group study rooms are intended solely for educational discussions and study-related activities.
Only groups of more than six students are permitted to use the study rooms, and the maximum booking duration is two hours.
Usage of the study rooms requires prior booking on the same day.
A group can only access the study room if more than four members are present to enter.
Any booking will be automatically canceled if the group fails to arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled time.
Loud laughter, hand clapping, sitting on chairs with legs up, or sitting on tables is strictly prohibited in the study rooms.
Additional chairs cannot be pulled out without prior permission from library staff.
Group study rooms are monitored by security cameras and sound systems, and all activities will be recorded for security purposes.
Gossiping and talking on phone loudly are strictly prohibited. It should be used in a decent manner.
