Printed Books

The East Delta University Library is currently holding more than 10,000 printed books. All the books
information are accessible through EDU Library Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). Books located in
general shelving locations are issuable to the valid library users. Only the confined books marked as
‘Reserved Copy’ are not issuable to the patrons. These vast collections support the teaching curriculum
and major research needs of the EDU community, with a special emphasis on use-inspired,
interdisciplinary research that focuses on discovering solutions to global challenges in health, security,
and sustainability. The most recent editions and relevant course books can be found at upstairs of the
library.

Magazines


Magazine
Magazine is a publication issued periodically, usually bound in a paper cover, and typically contains
essays, stories, poems, etc., by many writers, and often photographs and drawings, frequently
specializing in a particular subject or area, as hobbies, news, or sports. Magazine is a primary source of
information, representing original ideas and constitutes the latest available information.

Location & Access Policy
Magazines are placed in the Periodical Section of the Library, located on the ground floor in the library
building. As a non-issuable items, users are allowed to read magazines inside of the library.

Collections
EDU Library is subscribing 07 (seven) printed magazines. Current issues are available in the Magazine
Corner of the library.

Newspapers

Newspapers covering variety of fields including politics, business, sports & arts, and often include
materials such as opinion columns, weather forecasts, reviews of local services, advice columns, etc.

Location & Access Policy
Printed newspapers are placed in the Library, located on the 1st floor in the library building. As a non-
issuable items, users are allowed to read newspapers inside of the library.

Present Collections
EDU Library is currently subscribing 3 (three) daily newspapers (printed copy) which are available in
Newspaper Corner of the library.
